People fascinate me. Faces, gestures, cultures, creations and, sometimes the very absence of human beings is engrossing. Photography is a venue to meet new, captivating people; share their stories, ideas and aspirations; and make pictures that convey their essence, yet are also revelatory, playful and, hopefully, a little unexpected. Stylistically, I like bold, graphic, unpretentious–and AI-free–imagery, preferring to celebrate rather than eliminate the characteristics that make one person unique from another.
